The artwork “TOMORROW” belongs to the NEW BORN series, exploring the dialogue between generations, memory, and the future. The piece is built on a base that combines two distinct types of cork: black agglomerated cork and natural beige cork, materials of natural origin that reinforce both Portuguese identity and a deep connection to Earth.

Visually, the composition is defined by the fusion of two faces into one: on one side, the realistic portrait of a child wearing an astronaut suit – symbolizing curiosity, hope, and the projection of tomorrow; on the other side, the monochromatic drawing of an elderly man, created through urban graphic language – evoking experience, collective memory, and the weight of legacy.
