Our Future, Their Hands explores the direct relationship between past, present, and future. At the center of the mural, a child wearing an astronaut helmet represents the future — still undefined, fragile, yet full of potential. The child’s direct gaze confronts the viewer with a shared responsibility for what lies ahead.
On either side, two elderly faces rendered in a graphic, line-based style symbolize the past. They embody previous generations whose labor, decisions, and sacrifices shaped the world we inhabit today. These figures are not idealized; they appear as witnesses of time, carrying memory, experience, and consequence.
